The Philippine Comedy King Dolphy, Rodolfo Vera Quizon, Sr. in real life has passed away around 8:34 p.m., July 10 Thuesday night at Makati Medical Center as confirmed by on the interview his partner Zsa Zsa Padilla on ABS-CBN News. Dolphy died due to multiple organ failure, secondary to complications brought about by severe pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and acute renal failure.
Dolphy, diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and underwent several dialysis treatments while in the hospital. He also had at least two bouts of pneumonia, with the last one occurring only recently. His remains will lies in state at the Heritage Park in Taguig City.
